I’m having trouble remembering the name of this movie that I saw a couple of years ago.?
The movie starts out with an American Indian boy and his father. The Indian boy befriends a girl who is being abused, and he eventually falls in love with her. He spends his youth watching her fall for all the wrong guys, everyone but him, it seems. Eventually, one of her boyfriends sets her up to be gang raped in a hotel room, and her Indian friend saves her. He is later attacked and stabbed by this gang, The girl becomes a star later in life, and then ends up getting sick. The Indian takes care of her, and when she dies, he is in heaven waiting for her. It isn’t until this part of the movie that the audience realizes that he was dead all this time (he died after the gang attacked him, but remained by the girl’s side as an angel). I really want to see this movie again, but I don’t remember the name of it. Please help
