How do I get my property back from the authorities?
My house was burglarized. The crack head got away but without my property I caught him . He left on a bike he’s no kid in his thirties.The problem is he left the items at the side of my house he even took food out of my kitchen but getting back to the items that he left at the side of the house and even took my boat battery out of my boat.The items he left were my wife’s television .microwave I went to my insurance home owner $1000.00 deduct ale in which the items were worth I live on a fixed income and can’t afford it .The police took it all for evidence .I can’t heat my food up can’t go on my boat and my wife can’t watch her television her gold watch witch was only a Timex.HELP how do I get my stuff back.
contact the district attorney’s office and talk to them. The items were probably held as eveidnce as a matter of routine. But, if it is a hardship, they should be able to release it to you.
