Gold Election Watch – does anyone know anything about the Election watch company?
I was lucky enough to inherit a gold watch – it’s hallmarked and has a serial number on the back. It has gold bracelet. I have looked all around the internet for information on the manufacturer – Election – and all I can find is a couple of other Election watches for sale. They list them as Swiss made. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the company: Is it still in business, how old is my watch; can I contact them to find out about the serial number on the back, etc?
The best way is to contact the Swiss watchmakers’ association. Election are not a well known Swiss maker – they do not exist today – but they did apparently make some classic designs in the 20s
