need a good heart monitor wrist watch?
i have seen the polar f4 and f6 wrist watches on-line. it comes with a chest strap. do you need to wear the strap permanently to obtain heart rate readings? i know other watches don’t require this but sacrifice accuracy as a result.
i’ve also seen the jml watch. it looks ok too and is cheaper
any recommendations?
I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 that I like a lot. It has a GPS on it and comes with good software that shows where you ran and all the stats on your run (heartrate, pace, time, miles, calories burned etc..)
My only complaint is that it shows a lot of stats on the watch in large numbers, but the most important, heart rate, is shown in small numbers in the corner that can be a little hard to read while running. Its a great watch though
