But regarding the hype about the Chinese Gymnastic age controversy, lets be honest with ourselves… do you really think some of those kids are 16 years old? I am happy for those gymnast who work so hard to get there and win the gold medals, but at the same time, for a government to lies and telling the kids to lie, how do you think that is going to affect those impressionable teens? You don’t have to be an expert to notice how young those kids are. I am of Chinese descendant myself, yes … Asians do look younger…. but come on… look at that face and physique…
I was also watching the women diving finals just now and the Chinese won…gold medal… she was really awesome…. and she is 15. Her name is Ruolin Chen. If you google image her and compare her side to side with He Kexin, do you really think Kexin is older than Ruolin?
Why are you comparing ordinary Chinese citizens to Women’s gymnasts? Go to any gym in Chin and see the girls compete and you’ll see the difference. They don’t eat like ordinary Chinese girls. They don’t eat junk food or raw vegetables just Bao Zi and crackers that is WHY they are thin.
